Very easy to put together

It was very easy to put together and the directions were easy to follow. The packaging was also very nice and the pieces were supported in the box.

Beautiful Back to Back set up

I bought two of these, knowing the Homcom quality. I’m using them in a “Flex” room and they provide a lot of storage and room. I usually don’t bother with reviews, but this desk deserved writing about.

Excellent for work and crafts!

I use this as both a desk and my craft area. It was extremely heavy and I was worried about assembly, but it was great. It took me about 45-60 minutes but I did it alone with no issues. Everything was marked really well and clear, it was one of the best experiences I have had assembling the furniture. I LOVE that the side swings out. It moves so easily and allows me a place to sit if I need to work, or I can close it for a tighter look and a crafting area. I am extremely satisfied so far with this.

Exactly what I needed for my office/guest room

Love it!

The desk arrived pretty quickly, ordered late November, arrived early December. The process of putting together seemed a bit daunting because of just the amount of pieces, but it was actually really easy, however, the only thing they don't put in the instructions manual is about the device that lets it swivel but with a little help from my dad, we figured it out just fine. I, a not very strong female, put it together all alone. With the help of a power tool, it took an hour, maybe a hour and a half, but it feels very sturdy, and came with extra things if you lost one. The desk feels very well made, and the instructions were short, but direct, it is very heavy lol. You will need a regular sized Philips head screwdriver, or a drill, and a hammer to put it together.

Very practical

I like the fact that it's a 2 part desk and can adapt to any part of a room. Also the shelves on the side make it stand apart from other desks. I had some trouble with the rotating piece! One, it is not explained well how it is connected to the other parts of the furniture, so it's more of a guessing.... Then, when I moved the entire desk on the carpet, the whole item snapped and the screws just fell... so I had to put it back together. I think that particular item should be done better, including the part where the screws keep the item attached to the other part of the desk. Overall a nice desk.

10x better than expected

Honestly it looked like it would be flimsy in the picture but after it was put together, I was super happy with the results. As long as you don't make it swing in a way it isn't supposed to, it's a really great desk. Pretty darn heavy though, so for those of you living in apartments, have a buddy help you take it up some stairs.
