Great compact microwave with solid performance
I’ve been very pleased with the Farberware Classic 0.7 Cu. Ft. 700-Watt Microwave Oven. It’s compact, stylish, and fits perfectly in smaller spaces without sacrificing functionality. Despite its size, it heats food evenly and performs exactly as expected for everyday use. The controls are simple and intuitive, making it easy to use right out of the box. I especially appreciate how quiet it is compared to other microwaves I’ve owned, and the build quality feels sturdy and reliable. It’s perfect for reheating meals, making quick snacks, or light cooking. Overall, this microwave offers excellent value for the price. It’s a great choice for apartments, offices, dorm rooms, or anyone looking for a dependable, space-saving microwave. I would definitely recommend it.

When done, screen say "loc" (The only) White button releaes the door. Good safety feature.

Looks good. Fits in small space. (Such is the 2 stars given. ) BUT the clock couldn't be set, being either defective or having the incredulous design of continuous-flashing time. The instructional brochure didn't help either being decidedly unclear. P.S. : The microwave is being promptly returned.

microwave had no mica sheet and started to burn.
0 stars. It almost burned first time I used it. I couldn’t figure out why after 1 min and 40 seconds my plate of food started to smoke. It had no mica sheet on the side panel.
Good microwave, but Power feature is cumbersome
Farberware Classic .7 cu. ft. microwave oven is compact, works well, and is overall easy to use. My only complaint is that the Power function is cumbersome. Users have to first select Time Clock, set the desired time, select the Power button, set the desired Power level and then press Start. You can't just select a power level without first selecting Time Clock and setting the timer, as with other microwave ovens I have used--unless you set a Memory function to create a shortcut for future use. I would like to be able to adjust the power level at any time, even while food is cooking. Also worth noting: I ordered a model that does not include the Child Safety Lock, as shown on Macy's web page for this product, but received a model that includes this safety feature. I don't need the lock and find it inconvenient to have to press "Open Door" every time a warm-up or cooking job finishes. I was able to disable the child lock (the instruction manual tells you how to do this) so I kept the oven.
