No scent

I bought this lotion for my elderly mother. When I gave it to her the first thing she said is "Oh, it is lavender scented! My favorite!" A bit later I asked her if she likes the lotion and she said that it's nice but it has no smell. I checked it out as well as two other people in our household and we all agree that it has absolutely no smell whatsoever to it. Certainly a disappointment. Even a light smell of lavender would have been nice. I don't know if this is a manufacturing error or what but for that reason I would not buy this particular lotion again.
