Loving my Smart Wave

I love all of the smart features that this microwave has. Very user friendly and looks beautiful in my kitchen next to my Breville coffee maker.

I'm still learning to use all the different features this microwave offers, but after using for one week, I'm very satisfied. I really like letting the machine figure out when my food is done reheating. So far, I think it's been very accurate; the food has been very hot but not burning. In my search for a new microwave, I did not intend to buy one in this price range, but I have two other Breville appliances and have been happy with them. My first microwave I bought in the early 80's lasted about 25 years. Since then, my most recent two microwaves only lasted 5-8 years. so the reliability of this model convinced me to get this one.

Like it so far

Easy to use. The soft close is not completely soft. This was a bit disappointing. Very low humming sound when it’s running which is a big plus.

Smart Wave

Easy to use and a nice audible signal when done, no scary noises. Operation is much quieter than our last one, Breville has again put out a top knotch product.

Does, error E05

Died, error E05. Very disappointed, it was nice while it lasted, but it didn’t and it was expensive. Just out warranty.

Decent Microwave

Learning Curve!

Learning curve! This microwave has a learning curve, but it is pretty. Power is low—takes much longer than the old one I got rid of. There is a button on Breville toaster ovens and microwaves that says “a bit more.” A bit more what? I generally like Breville products and I think as we get used to this one, we’ll like it more. I like the soft close. I do not like that you have to push an additional button to “unlock” the door to open it after the chime.
