Great looking but slow

Very nice looking toaster and good quality, but it's seems to be calibrated for grocery store bread with sugar in it, so the maximum length cycle isn't long enough to toast bakery bread/bagels. It does eventually toast nicely, but patience is required.

Good looking but...

Shortly after buying and starting to be used, I noticed that the exposed metal stains or corrodes not sure what. Now, after a number of years the top white plastic has cracked in two places. Worth to mention that it is in normal, careful and light use (maybe twice weekly). Truly, I am disappointed by the built quality of this toaster especially when compared to a much older TFAL that still works and looks brand new.

Your oven broiler would be more effective

I had a Cuisinart toaster that barely toasted, thinking the heating element might be old. But this Zwelling toaster is no better. Even on the darkest setting it barely toasts the bread.

Style WITHOUT Function

It is rare that I write a review. The toaster design is simple and modern in it's clean lines and materials. With that said, it does not toast. We have toasted on the next to highest setting (6) and the bread does not brown at all. Very disappointing. Clearly the company needs to do texting to insure their products actually do the job.
