Suitcase actually cracked and broke

On our second trip using this bag, we retrieved it from baggage claim, and it was broken through at the bottom like what a hard plastic cup might do if dropped on the ground.

The box was open, its thread was loose around the zip and it was obvious that edges were turned to check the thread. But the luggage itself is good.
