Disappointed...just disappointed with Kitchenaid

Bought this model about 3 years ago-- about 18 months in- the springs that held the door failed- causing the door to fall open. I was able to find springs at a hardware store and make a 1/2 way decent repair. Then a few weeks back - the bottom heating element stopped working. No ability to fix- out of warranty - even the repair folks said "buy a new one". It's a shame that it's a throwaway mentality- Kitchenaid use to last a long time - now it heads to the garbage.

Concerned about manufacturer warranty

I bought this oven in July 2025 and I was very satisfied and happy cooking with it ! But today , one of it's heating element cracked with flame during working !!! Being in manufacturer warranty means that I will receive another oven in the place of the broken one? How can I resolve this problem?

Dissapointed

I have had my oven for 3 years and today it has decided that it wont turn off - extreme Fire Hazard! We have unplugged it to "reset it" as reccommended, without success. I am very disappointed and would like some resolve!

Died out of nowhere!

We bought this 2 years ago. It worked perfectly up until today. We used it to toast bread this morning and when we went to reheat something for lunch, the appliance was completely dead. There are no issues with the plug, however we did try plugging it into another outlet just to be sure. Totally dead. This is pretty disappointing, given that an appliance of this price should have a longer life.

5 years and still love it !

Came back to buy one of these as a housewarming gift for a friend, happy to see they’re still available. Had mine for 5 years now and it works just as great as day one. I’ve used it to make almost everything, from reheating meals, baking macarons, making toast, to cooking steaks. Has great settings and is so easy to use. Often more convenient and energy saving than using a conventional oven.
