We understand that keeping your water cold for extended periods is important, and we apologize if this bottle did not fulfill that need. The Cortland 2.0 is designed for convenience and ease of use with its AUTOSEAL® lid, but it may not offer the same level of insulation as some of our other products.
If you are looking for a water bottle that provides better insulation, we recommend trying our Contigo West Loop 3.0 Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug, which is designed to keep beverages cold for hours.

Design Flaw
This is the 5th Contigo product we have owned. I like the flip-up spout design but the plastic shell around the mouthpiece needs some work. I accidentally knocked it off my side table onto carpet and the shell broke. It snaps around the silicone mouthpiece and now the tiny clips that hold the 2 pieces together broke off and it wont stay together any longer. I Super Glued it back together, not sure how long this will last. Needs a more robust design on the flip up mouthpiece. Otherwise, typical Contigo quality.

It leaks!
It leaks! When it falls on it's side it leaks all over everything! Hard to clean all nooks & crannies from getting mildew.

Recommend handwashing
Received this as a Christmas gift and I was thrilled with it. That one was not an auto spout as I prefer no straw. someone else in the house was loading the dishwasher and put bottle in for cleaning, Dishwasher deformed by the bottle where the lid no longer fits. I was really disappointed because it came from someone very special and I thought of them every time I used it. Reluctantly, I’ve had to replace it, and I got the auto spout this time.

Terrible
The new design is terrible! The seals font ladt. They leak within months. I also hate straws in water bottles. I wish you didn't discontinue the old style of water bottles. The seals were so much better and so were the clips.

what’s not to like? (I wanted plastic, not SS.) 1. Mfr. specs/claims all true/correct, BPA-free, no leak, high quality, beautiful design. 2. Perfect for usage with my one-handedness. 3. Two-piece construction, top and bottle, screw on/off. 4. Internal part swings out of way for thorough cleaning. 5. Superior functionality-handle, spout, flip hygienic cap, drink/close push/release. 6. Toggle type lock for prevent-leak bag carry. Its safe and tough enough for kids and grownups..
