Sucker in ordering

Had one before and liked it. However wasn’t happy that it was shipped in its box and now put into a shipping box. This happened before with an order from Macys. Will think twice the next time when need to order something. It sure will not be at Macys. Also it was $10 more expensive than other retailers. That was a shame on me!!! Check other retailers first.

No protection lid for popping oil

I really wanted this lil thing to be it but unfortunately I had to return it as it has no lid and oil would’ve been all over the place. The lid it comes with is rubber and it states not to use while frying lol obviously.

This may be a symptom of water coming in contact with the oil. (example ice crystals on your frozen fries) Make sure your food is dried before placing it in the hot oil as this will cause the oil to spatter. This is also just part of deep frying. It's not advised to cover your fryer when deep frying simply because the food won't be as crispy as you would like. We're sorry this didn't meet your expectations and you returned it. Perfect Fried chicken

I tried the recipe in the manual, using one egg and 1/2 cup of milk. Once the wings were cooked, I sprinkled slap your mama seasoning on them. They tasted great. I let the fryer cool off over night. Then I strained the grease into a bowl, using a strainer to drain the dripings at the bottom of the fryer. Then, I put the grease back in the fryer. I wanted to try this size fryer, before I bought the GranPappy fryer.
