3,000,000 Miles and Still Going Strong
I’m closing in on 3,000,000 lifetime miles on United Airlines, and my Briggs & Riley Baseline Global 21” has been with me for a good stretch of that journey. Before this bag, I traveled with a beautiful French Company herringbone set - elegant luggage that served me well for years until it finally surrendered, held together at the end by a thick cord wrapped around a failing zipper. The Briggs & Riley is a different class. Less romantic - think blacked-out business executive sedan - but it travels flawlessly. It fits internationally without a fight, and at 21 inches tall clears domestic sizing with an inch to spare. Over the years I’ve replaced the wheels and handles. When a strap on my garment insert tore, Briggs & Riley replaced it without hesitation. That’s the warranty promise in action. In a few weeks, this bag will be with me when I cross 3,000,000 miles at 35,000 feet. I’m confident we’ll make 4,000,000 together. One small confession: the black replacement handle was backordered, so I accepted a blue one. My sleek, blacked-out executive bag now has a single blue handle…now it has a bit of character.

Not a carry-on for most US airlines
I don’t understand why this is marketed as a carry-on when it’s too wide for most US airlines. United, American, Delta, Alaska all require carry-ons to be 14” wide but this is 15” so it doesn’t fit in the overhead bins. I travel weekly for work and don’t check my bag so this was a complete a waste of money.

Very high quality. The handle
Very high quality. The handle on the outside adds so much room I didn't realize it.

Great Size and Well Made
I've had this bag for years, and I just got one for my husband. His is a beautiful navy (not available when I got mine). These are classy, very well made bags and can hold a lot yet still fit in most overhead bins. They roll smoothly--2 wheels is so much better than 4, as the bag won't roll away if you let go on a slope. Our son has an older version that's a bit smaller (which we'd prefer), and it still looks new after 8 years of use all around the world. Best. Luggage. Ever.

Overseas travel
I have the 22" four wheel version. It's the best carry on I have used in my 35 years of business travel. I have used it several times in Europe without issue. I bought this for international travel as it meets all travel abroad requirements.

Great carry on
My husband loves this carry on and the option for expansion. He expands it, packs it, then compresses it down for it to be more compact. Its high quality and very durable. He travels often and has no complaints.

Large expandable
Disappointing that ur 30. Percent off doesn’t include a large expandable piece like b4 Christmas. Should have bought the large instead of the medium

Lightweight
Lightweight compared to the travel pro. Fits all I need for 3-6 days.
