Had not worn 505 Levi's in a few years. These are a mid-weight denim which I love. They fit well. Ordered my usual size, laundered and put in dryer until ALMOST dry. No shrinkage. Slim leg, not skinny, not baggy.

559 vs 505
The 559's fit great. Little loose but that's fine for me. Also bought a pair of 505's. Big difference. The 505's are tight in the thighs and seat. If you like your jeans tight, then go with the 505's. I give the 559's 5-STARS and the 505's 3-STARS

Solid Jean with classic style
Purchased these for my husband and they look fantastic. He’s particular and really likes the look and feel of these jeans. They hug in the right areas, are sturdy, and just have that classic Levi’s look.
