very good and well-needed upgrade

I had a Bissel for the last 4 years and I didn't realize it wasn't doing a very good job! I purchased this new vacuum as an upgrade because I couldn't get the replacement parts for the old one (outdated at this point) and I am so glad I chose this one! the only thing is I do like the little bristles that stuck out at the edges, I think it was called the edge-sweepers on the older model, that got into the little edges and seams of some areas. I don't think those are included in most newer models, or at least not the ones I was looking at before making my decision. I really like my new model!

Disappointed

Machine clogged up in rollers after 2 uses and the plastic roller seat was wearing away. I vacuum regularly so very disappointed it did not perform and I returned it. I love my Bissell carpet cleaner so thought I'd love the vacuum. Sorry to say it didn't perform.

Second time around

I bought this to replace the same model I bought, get this, probably about 10 years ago. My old one’s beater bar started to stop turning when I pushed the vacuum forward. The actual motor still worked just fine, tho. The fix to the beater bar connection was about what a new vacuum cost.

DO NOT BUY THIS VACCUM!!

Horrible horrible horrible!! I had a bissell pet hair vacuum before this and it was wonderful. This vacuum legitimately will shoot out crumbs after I try and roll over them to suck them up and I can feel the crumbs shoot out the back and hit my feet on the tile floor we have. It is fine on carpet but is beyond horrible on anything else floor wise. I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone pet owners or people with kids.

Not a bad machine but not good either

The product os ok at best. Use the wand and the machine tips over every time. I vacuum the carpet and it misses so much. I used my very old on its last leg cordless dyson and pulled tons of dirt and hair out of an already bissel vacuumed rug. For a vacuum company to not be a close comparison is interesting. .

Quality Vacuums that get your carpets clean!

Great Vacuums, good quality and long life of product. Dog hair is no match for these series of vacuums and replaceable filters are a must in Colorados high desert environment.

Bissell Vacuum

Too expensive. No comparison to my previous Bissells. Hose is WAY too short, tank is tiny and has to be emptied frequently and no edge cleaner. Don't need headlights, I don't vacuum in the dark. Would give up stupid lights for longer hose & bigger tank.
