Portmeirion Plates Arrived Damaged

I ordered 6 new Portmeirion plates and the bottom three were broken. The large shopping box had no physical damage. As I opened the inner box with the plates in it you could hear the broken pieces moving around. The inner box from Portmeirion did have damage. It appears that the box had damaged plates before being shipped to me. I filled out and sent in a damage report the next day. In the report I had several pictures of the damaged plates, the boxes, copy of the invoice. It has been almost a week and there has been no response from Macy's. Very disappointing ! I guess I will have to bring them to a local Macy's and try to return them or get replacements for the damaged ones.
