Shattered after first use

It was so embarrassing. It honestly looked so good and I should’ve known it’s too good to be true. I bought it for my bf as an anniversary gift, he literally put it on and barely went a few hours with it and all the pieces inside the watch face came apart. I’ve never seen that happen. He literally had to ask how much was it. I don’t know if it’s a one-of defect but it’s my first time purchasing this brand, and definitely my last.
