3 qt pressure cooker

I love the smaller version. This is my 4th pressure cooker. :) However, setting the timer is confusing. Still not sure I have it correct, so I also use a regular timer. I also struggle with making sure the vent is closed when I cook something. It's new.....hopefully I'll get used to these 2 things.

Rubber in Food?

No Replacement Parts! I love everything about cooking with the unit. However, I need a replacement gasket. It no longer can reliably pressure cook. The gasket is missing chunks of rubber - did this end up in the food? Since no parts are available - obsolete unit - it is virtually worthless.

No Parts Available

I love this cooker. It's the perfect size for me. But you cannot buy a new gasket. There are NO parts available for this. I wish I had known that before I bought it. I would recommend buying a different brand.

Good Luck Getting Parts!

I have had my 3 quart Proctor Silex Pressure Cooker for a couple months and, until now, I’ve loved it! I use it for everything! I eat a lot of bean soup and sauces and I love how quickly it cooks! The booklet/instructions speak of changing and cleaning the gaskets, but do you think you can buy an extra one? If so, you are in for the same disappointment that I am experiencing! An appliance that is not easy to buy parts for loses its value in my book. I wish I had gone with the InstantPot brand name!

Love! Love! Love!

I have been looking for about a year to find an instant pot that is simple. I just want the sauté slow cook and pressure cook and this has all of that but it’s not complicated. It’s very simple and has four buttons it’s perfect. It does a great job sautéing and I absolutely love the pressure cook to have a meal done in 10 minutes is pretty awesome. Don’t hesitate….get this one.
