Perfect wedding gift

The perfect wedding gift for young couples. We received a set of stainless nested bowls for a wedding gift over 40 years ago and still have them. We have since added this set of LeCruset bowls to our kitchen and continue to give them as gifts to our young friends for their nuptials.

Good mixing bowl. Terrible lids.

I bought these a couple years ago. Great mixing bowls. The lids, however are atrocious. I wish they had an update I could buy to fix the problem. An o-ring style polymer lid wouldn’t be hard to manufacture and would make this product a MUST BUY.

Lids Issue

Hard to put the lid on. It fits but doesn't stays on perfectly. It bends, not flat enough to cover the bowls. I end up using plastic wrap to cover the bowls.

Don’t hesitate, buy them.

This set of Le Creuset stainless steel bowls are worth the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bowls and their lids. The steel quality is very good: thick enough yet light, the lids are of good quality as well- not thin or flimsy at all. It’s just a little too tight, getting them on is a bit of a struggle but the notch helps with the removal. I’m taking one reviewer’s advice and not put them in the dishwasher. The bowls clean up easily. I’m drying mine after wash because I have very hard water and once I saw water marks after it had dried. The weighted bottoms is really good in helping keeping them in place when you are mixing ingredients.
