Tough on the back of the hand. Soft in the palm and fingers.

I work in a zero degree freezer for 5 hour shifts and these gloves are great. I am opening boxes of product the whole time and I have great dexterity with the soft palm through the fingers. These gloves are not warm enough for zero degrees so I wear a thin pair of gloves under these along with 2 hand warmers in each glove. Zero degrees is brutal. So if you need extra room for more gloves/hand warmers then get a size larger. The gloves fit great. I can move my fingers easily to put small items on shelves. These gloves are tough but after about 3 years of hard labor they will start to fall apart which is to be expected. My company hands out cheap gloves but I paid for these because of the quality and durability.
