DO NOT BUY
My parents and I have been searching for a new kettle for months. We bought this one. Sometimes, we had to pour carefully because hot water would splutter out the sides. Well today, we did nothing different but when I went to pour, hot water EXPLODED (literally) out of the kettle everywhere. I now have second degree burns on my hands. Our old kettle absolutely never did this. It has to be a defect with this kettle. Do not buy!!

The best whistling kettle on the market
This is a solid, beautiful looking kettle. It looks nice on the stovetop. Before buying, I spent days reading kettle reviews everywhere. I was hard-pressed to find any one kettle that had overwhelming positive reviews. This kettle had the highest customer ratings, so I bought the stainless version. It is durable like my last Le Creuset enamel tea kettle, except easier to take the lid on and off. Overall, I am really happy with this purchase.

This kettle has it all!!
This stainless steel whistling tea kettle is just terrific. It is very attractive, holds 1.7 quarts of water, and the water boils up fast. Very happy with my purchase and recommend highly!
Perfection I love it
I love the shine And easy to clean. to keep the water spots from forming I empty it every day after using it and when it gets water spots on the inside, I soak it with baking soda water, and it rinses right out

What happened to Le Creuset quality?
Tea Kettle looks great and worked fine but unfortunately we had to return it. Process of buying and returning was great. Le Creuset should be ashamed about the product quality and seriously consider changing quality assurance people and policies. This Stainless Steel Tea Kettle developed inside corrosion spots and top layer peeling spots (which would soon corrode as well ) in the area where spout is spot welded to kettle body in about month of normal use. We have used Le Creuset products before and i thought that i can buy their product with hi confidence - what happened? Our old Chantal Kettle was rust free after 15 years of use.
