Nice size steamer

This is a nice size steamer. It has stackable bowls that have removable bottoms that you can remove to make the bowl bigger when steaming a larger amount of the same item. So far I have been very happy with it!

Not great compared to their other steamers

First of all I would like to say that Hamilton Beach makes a decent product. But they got it wrong this time. The bottoms of the trays are completely removable. And they should not be. At least on the bottom one. I can understand how you might not want a tree on the second tier if you have something larger like an artichoke. But since the trees are removable and they do not lock in, it is way too easy to push up from the bottom and spill food as you try to remove it. It makes the entire device clumsy and clunky and it just gives you extra moving pieces that you should never have. We've only had this product a short time and the front is already falling off. The lid gets locked on by pressure and you have to try to use utensil to pry it just to release some steam and try to remove the lid. This is resulted in our lid cracking. You will be returning this one immediately. You've never had such a bad product before

Great concept, but disappointed in the quality.

The product works, but it is made from a flimsy plastic and the piece doesn’t always stay in place. We have used a glass steamer in the past, but it is more costly. One plus is that you can steam larger items like artichokes.

I use a steamer a lot to cook veggies, rice, or dumplings. This is a very handy steamer with a lot of useful features. Very satisfied with my purchase :)
