Remote broke after 1 month!

Ive only had the fan for 1 month and the remote control has stopped working--Wire came loose! Sadly it's the only way to turn on the fan. Im stuck without a remote a week before Thanksgiving--just when I need this fan the most!!

Casa Vieja Capri

This fan is awesome. Looks nice and works well, moves air at a nice rate. Unlike some of the other reviews, I found the light to be more than adequate for a bedroom, in fact brighter than I expected. The only issue we had is that we live in an older 90's home, with two wall switches installed, one for the fan light and one for fan only (no remote, uses pull chain). This fan requires you to leave the wall switch ON and operate the fan by remote. Yes, the metal packing piece that is removed and not used confused us. As someone said, it was not mentioned at all in the instructions. Overall, very happy with the fan.

Makes an Impact

My husband and I were looking for something more unique and this is certainly unique. We really like it. I wish that the instructions were a bit more clearer. We put it up ourselves and it was a bit stressful...and yes, my husband is extremely handy.
