The Dyson Big Ball Turbinehead has powerful Dyson suction to remove hair and dirt from every floor type. Self-righting technology Dyson Big Ball canister vacuums are monostatic: they have a single stable resting point. Dyson engineers made this possible using a complex configuration of the vacuum s components. By assembling them in a spherical array, with the heaviest components near the floor, we created a curved body with a low center of gravity. This means that whenever the vacuum is displaced from its resting position, gravitational force will automatically return it. Or more simply, when it s knocked over, it gets back up. Dyson Big Ball canister vacuums feature a new bin emptying mechanism so you can hygienically drive out trapped dust and debris with just the push of a button. Not a user friendly vacuum

The vacuum does not have the suction component motorized so it is very heavy to work and “glues” to the rugs even when one is pulling the release which is very tiring on the finger.

Excellent Vacuum – Powerful, Easy to Use

Excellent cleaning technology.

I love my Dyson ball vacuum because it's great at getting at the hard to reach areas under tables and near skirting boards.The handle extension allows me to clean the filter of the bathroom ceiling fan. It's also easy to empty and store in my cupboard. The filter is great and easy to clean. It's not too loud.

Broken on the 1st use

Owned 2 dysons and this was bought to keep it on my 2nd floor. The connecting rubber pipe ripped in half in my first use.

Dyson is an excellent brand of vacuum cleaner.

Cleans very well. The ball is heavy though. It does turn itself upright if it gets turned over. The hose and attachments provide plenty of length.

Dyson that are useless

The machine are getting more useless when they should be getting better. Sucks up nearly nothing. Dosnt Like going over mats, dosnt pick up stones, leaves etc etc.. I have 3 cleaners and the newest dyson is the one that can't do anything..

Wonderful unit

I bought the barrel vacuum some time ago now. It was my 2rd purchase of vacuum cleaners from dyson. I have found the overall performance excellent. It has wonderful suction on carpet floors and strong suction on hard floor surfaces. However the multiform tool tends to spit bits out the side on hard floors making it necessary to go over areas repeatedly. Also it has been very annoying to not be able to get an adapter to be able to use attachments from previous machine that worked very well. The other issue is the noise created by the multifloor head on both carpet and especially hard floors. Too much noise even without hearing aids in.
