The cordless Dyson Gen5outsize has the suction power of a corded vacuum. It has HEPA filtration for our deepest, most hygienic clean. It's engineered with the larger size, power, intelligence, and additional run time to deep clean larger spaces. It has a 25% wider cleaner head and 150% larger bin compared to the Dyson Gen5detect, as well as twice the run time. The Dyson Gen5outsize covers more floor with each pass and allows for more cleaning between bin emptying and charges. It intelligently optimizes suction power based on floor type and debris picked up. The LCD screen indicates when to keep cleaning an area and when to move on. The Fluffy Optic cleaner head reveals invisible dust on hard floors. The extra wide de-tangling Digital Motorbar XL cleaner head deep cleans carpets and hard floors without tangles. Terribly noisy

The noise is a health hazards. The power head on wooden and tiles surfaces is so high it will either make you deadly or drive you crazy. Other then that it's a good unit!! P.S we had 2 units. The original was replaced by Dyson because it was a health hazard. The replacement sound is a bit better but still to high

Hours of effortless runtime

My Debo plug-in has been officially retired. Our home has a combination of hardwood, tile, area rugs, stair runners, and deep pile carpets in the upstairs. AND we’ve got furry pets. The Gen5outsize has the power, the suction, and the HEPA filtration to rid my home of everything from pet hair and people hair to dirt, and fine dust that our very powerful plug-in was just missing. The canister volume is perfect! I thought it might be too big to clean our furniture easily, but it turns out to be so perfectly balanced, it managed that task with minimal effort (and dang, I’m 60 and female and it was a breeze). The hard floor attachment with the laser light for finding unseen dust and debris was a huge surprise for how well it worked and highlighted what needed cleaning. The “auto” function and the top mounted power button are a game changer for reducing hand fatigue, and it really does help this powerful battery work at its best. No more “range anxiety” while cleaning. And for those rare occasions I need some extra time, that second battery provides for all my needs in time to deep clean. The larger size adds efficiency, a quieter cleaning experience, and surprisingly nimble maneuverability. Five out of five stars. Would buy this again. DID buy this again to gift one to my daughter.

Way too heavy!

I can’t believe Dyson made such an extremely HEAVY vacuum!!! Now my back hurts every time I use it!. I wish it was smaller just to keep the weight down. If it wasn’t for that I’d have given it 5 stars.

Excellent product – Powerful, quiet and efficient!

Review I’ve been using this product for over a month now and I’m genuinely impressed! The battery lasts much longer than expected, and the filtration system is incredibly effective. It easily maneuvers around furniture and tight spaces, making cleaning much faster and more enjoyable. The performance has been consistent, and I love how lightweight and quiet it is. Totally worth the investment—highly recommended!

Brilliant on Ultra fine cat hair!

I have been looking for a vacuum that will really pick up very fine cat hair, after 2 purchases failed, finally decided to go with Dyson. Yes, they are more expensive, but boy, do they work. I was embarrassed by how many times I had to empty the catcher when I used it on the carpet for the first time! Wish I had brought this before I got the other ones. It is a bit heavy, but not too noisy. I find the attachments can be hard to take off (I'm older and don't have a huge amount of strength or dexterity) but for cleaning it is great. They way the head swivels is great, it can get right under beds and chairs.
