No off on button - just a trigger
Have not started to use it yet, may return it. I have owned 4 different Dyson vacuums and my Dyson 12 has a button to turn on, why did we go back to a trigger for the Dyson 15? I have arthritis and don’t have the ability to trigger switch for the length of time I need to vacuum. I’m disappointed that there is no button to turn on, just a trigger. I’m deciding still whether or not to keep it so I’ll think about it a few more days. I love Dyson vacuums, I’m just disappointed in the way this one turns on.

Do not like not having attachments attach directly to the cleaning head. Also mine did not come with a crevice attachment like my older V8 model, big disadvantage

Great Vacuum
I love the versatility of this vacuum, the only thing that I wish was slightly different was the need to continually hold the trigger for power. I have some shoulder issues and this is a little difficult for me at times. Im sure for someone without pain, this is fine. All in all, I love this vacuum!

NOT FOR HIGH PILE CARPET AND TOO HEAVY
not the vacuum for us. does not work on high pile carpet, so we must return. also, i have issues with my shoulder and i couldn't not handle the weight of the machine for more than 10 minutes. we are waiting for a return response from dyson, and communication has been non-existent and we only have 30 days. we will keep trying to return it! we are going back to a canister vacuum for all reasons.

More on the floor than meets the eye!
Excellent performance compared to last Dyson. The 'light' for hard floors makes you realise just how much dust accumulates..quickly too. For the carpet/rugs it is tougher to brush/sweep with total ease. But it's worth it all the same.

I have 2 cats and a dog and this machine is a gift. Long battery life, easy to use, superior cleaning, attachments useful in cleaning so many elements of home from floor to ceiling.
