Great product ruined by rust
The hooks work really well. I use them all over my house, and I've only experienced a hook falling off the surface once or twice. When the hook fell, I suspect the cause was inadequate surface and/or contact pad preparation. My advice to others who have experienced the hooks falling would be to clean and then try wetting or completely drying the white contact pad to see if that makes a difference. The one disadvantage of the design is the type of metal used for the hook. A rust-resistant option, such as stainless steel, would be preferable in cases where customers plan to use the hooks in damp areas, e. g. , showers and bathrooms.

Expected Better Quality
The suction on this hook is "iffy" at best. The hook also rusts.

Suction doesn’t hold
Installed the suction hook to the shower tile and it fell off after a week. Tried to put the hook back up repeatedly, but it would only stay up for maybe 5 minutes or less. I avoided placing the suction hook on tile seams and cleaned the area before trying to attach it. Oxo’s other products are great, but this hook is really disappointing and a waste of money.

Great Product
I love the hooks. They work well and you can remove the hook and replace it very easily. The only improvement for consideration is using stainless steel for the hook and the metal in other products used in damp areas. Unfortunately the current metal hook rusts.

2 are still hanging, one will not
