Disappointed
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I purchased this blanket and in four months it stopped working and the controller displayed an Error code. I reached out to the warranty department. They were kind and sent out a new blanket. However four months later this blanket is no longer working and displaying an Error code.

Great blanket
I looked high and low for either a cotton or wool electric blanket and the only ones I could find were in Australia, which means they are not compatible with our plugs. Apparently natural fiber electric blankets are not a thing in the US. But, this blanket is well-made, soft and fluffy, plug and play (except for the timer feature that requires sort of a Rube Goldberg setup, and gawd forbid I should burn 0.0000001% of a calorie and reach over to turn it off myself). The control is easy to read (the model I bought goes up to 20), and the light stays on, which I believe isn't a feature some people like, but I like to see if it's off or on. The literature claims that the EMF toxicity is pretty much non-existent.

Sherpa heated blanket is just what I wanted
Toasty toes!
I am a widow who still has a king size bed. I had been wanting an electric blanket for a while, but hesitated because I didn't want dual controllers. After doing some research and measuring, I took a chance and began searching for a full size blanket because they typically have only one controller. I chose this particular blanket because it looked so soft (and it is!) and the controller was compatible with smart devices. I have it set to turn on 30 minutes before I typically go to bed so it is nice and toasty warm when I crawl in. I also noticed that even when it is completely off, it is still very warm compared to what I was using before. The blanket mostly covers the entire top of the mattress, with no overhang, but that is fine because I have a quilt that covers the bed completely when made up. Love it!

Good blanket; Web description needs to be updated.
I just received this blanket and have only used it one night, but so far it has been delightful. My only complaint is about the product description on this website (not a complaint about the product itself). The item is labeled "True North" (not "Sleep Philosophy"). In fact, I worried that I might have received the wrong product, as the brand seemed to be completely different. I googled the two names and found that "True North" is a subsidiary of the Sleep Philosophy brand (kind of like how you have [blank] by [bigger expensive brand]). Nowhere on this listing does it say "True North", which seems misleading to me. Other retailers have such products clearly listed as "True North by Sleep Philosophy", and I would ask that Macy's do the same in its product description.

Great blanket for all especially older people!
I ordered this as a Christmas present for an older friend of mine. He loves it and because it is a blanket and not a throw it keeps him warmer than the previous blankets he had.
