Nice idea but.....

I liked the idea of having a compactor with our trash can, wife hates seeing my use my hand or foot, but this one is too tall and not wide enough for the 13 gallon bags we use. When I compact a bag that is about half full and lift the handle back up the top of the bag will pull away from the compactor arms. When I try to reattach them I have to lift the bag up so that the weight of the trash makes it hard to reattach the bags up to the compactor arms. Did not have this issue with the bags that came with the unit. Guess I will need to order them. They must be longer. If you plan to get one of these consider ordering the bags that come with it.

Love it!

Love it! What more can you say - compacts the waste. I have one for waste and one for recycling! Works really well. Great! My daughter sounded really interested in getting one too!

Squeeze that Trash

Great idea and very well made - all the important parts are very sturdy. It also looks great for a bin and along with my Totem I’m now fully covered for all of my recycling needs.

A bit of a gimmick

Bins is ok but it’s not great at compacting the contents. Works better when you use your hand to just push the contents down.
