Good memory foam pillow

A softer, lighter weight memory foam pillow that cradles your head but isn't so high that it causes neck pain like many thicker ones do. As for the cooling - not so much. But it's nice that it has a removable cover for washing. It does smell when you first get it, so it needs to be aired out for several days.

Serta pillow - reasonably priced and great quality

Not that nice

I ordered this cooling pillow online and was excited to try it out—it looked and felt great. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it had a strong, unpleasant odor. I tried spraying it with Febreze, but that didn’t help. As much as I liked the cooling feature, I just couldn’t get past the smell and had to return it.

This typically dissipates after a few days of normal use in a well ventilated environment. The cooling effect works when you turn pillow over several times. Not as firm as the Thermapedic that I recently purchased from Macy’s.
