Terrible quality

I've used my original Revereware stainless steel cooking pots for literally 40 years, and I've never had to clean them beyond washing with soap and a soft sponge. I used this pot one time, for 30 minutes, and the whole bottom of it is stained and discolored. The pot was on low heat for 20 minutes and no more than 10 minutes on medium in order to bring a batch of soup to a boil. I searched online after using it, and apparently discoloration is common with this brand. I don't think it should be necessary to deep-clean stainless steel every single time you use it, so I can't recommend this at all. Back to Macy's goes...and my hunt for a large Revereware Dutch oven is on.

Perfect pasta pot!

Really nice pasta cooker. Love how the screen goes on. This pot and a set of colanders were my first purchase of Tramontina. I did not know the brand. The pot measurements are off on the website but if you are looking for a 6 quart pot this will be perfect. Really nice quality (VERY similar to my all clad pots). Will order more of this brand in the future!
