A giant ceramic pan with a heavy glass lid

I decided to get a larger pan as my previous ones are 10 in and they came a bit small. This one is huge and extends past the cooktop burner. It is quite slick and non stick. It is good for eggs and vegetable but I find searing some meat for cooking is not ideal. The meat still cooks but come up tender and not too brown. The cooking area is spacious. The cleanup is a breeze. It looks very durable with good coating. It is a bit heavier than most non sticks especially with the lid. The lid is very high quality glass and very heavy but works very well with the pan. I hope this pan lasts longer. I know it will be healthier and I believe that Calphalon stands behind it.

Good size but heavy and food sticks

I bought this over a year ago and still use it. The size is perfect for a family of 4; however, within a few weeks, the bottom warped and it no longer sits straight on the (electric) stove. It wabbles on the burner and so the heat is not even. Food started to stick within a few days, and no matter what I use on it, it continues to sick. The lid is heavy and the pan itself is very heavy and hard to handle it one-handed. The handle on the side is useful. Frankly, I'm disappointed in this brand and the quality of this pan. I'll continue to stick to All Clad instead.

Excellent pan

The second handle is what makes this pan the best for me. As a large pan, it holds plenty of food, especially for a one-pan meal. But this makes it more difficult to carry, and the extra handle on the opposite side fixes that problem. The older I get, the more I look for things to make life easier!

Switched to Calphalon Ceramic and left PFAS Behind

We are delighted with our Calphalon Ceramic Nonstick 12" with lid. It is a great size, spanning small-to-large meal preparation. We have several Calphalon Ceramic cookware, from small saucepans to large casserole dishes, and appreciate the durability of this nonstick technology without the concern for PFAS compounds.

My new favorite pan.

Great pan. Recently purchased the Premier Ceramic set and love it. Went with the premier because we use our cookware heavily. We wanted a larger pan and found this one. We got it on sale and it’s a bargain. Would probably buy it again at full price. Use it to sear steak, fried or scrambled eggs, a little bit of everything. Cleaning is a breeze. Even on scrambled eggs that can sometimes really stick, rinses right off. The handles rivets need a little more scrubbing, but the ceramic cleans right off. Trying to not use metal utensils, though we have. No major scratches. Time will tell how well it holds up. Several months in though we couldn’t be happier.
