Disappointed
Purchased 6-months ago upon moving to new house with a lot of tiles for flooring. I honestly cannot work out the purpose of the submarine function. I thought it was going to be an option to clean the floor but i doesn't, it puts water down and moves it around and sucks it back up. The floor is no cleaner, I've ended up moving back to a mop and bucket where I can apply pressure when needed and know my floor is clean. The vacuum is good, nothing outstanding and does what it is supposed to do. The stand is handy, but is difficult to get the items out of their holders.

Best cleaner ever
The best cleaner I have ever used. The suction is unbelievable and the mop is so easy and work so well on my new flooring.

Overpriced and the Submarine attachment is bad.
I was really excited to try the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, but unfortunately it has been a big disappointment. For the price, I expected much better performance. My other vacuum that costs about 15% of the price actually works better overall and has a longer battery life. The suction and general efficiency are fine, but nothing close to what justifies the cost. The biggest issue is the Submarine attachment. It leaves far too much water on hardwood floors, which is concerning because it can potentially cause damage over time. Because of that, the wet cleaning feature feels more like a gimmick than a useful tool. If you want a wet cleaning option, you are honestly better off buying a dedicated wet vacuum or mop system. The versatility sounds great in theory, but in practice it just doesn’t perform well enough to justify the extra money. Overall, this product feels very overpriced for what it delivers.

Make your life easier
I had a DC24 for 15 years! I got V15 as a replacement and have been very happy with it. It is a bit lighter. The battery lasts around 50 min for me. I have a two story home with hardwood and area rugs. Maneuverability is similar to the DC 24 but better. I can get in smaller tighter spaces and underneath lower items. The suction is much better and this unit has a screen that tells you how many particles that you’ve picked up and that’s totally amazing. You will find out that you pick up a lot with this. The versatility on this machine is really great. It comes with three heads one for the hardwood floor and I use it on the lower carpets and one for the carpets and rug and it also cleans with a floor cleaning head. I have not had any problems with it. You just kinda have to keep an eye on how much dirty water is in the tray and keep it level as you carry it to the sink to pour it out. The floor dries quickly after use. I also like the new way that you clean out the bin, you press down the lever and it just shoots it down into the trash and the filter is Hepa so it’s great. I have had no issues with hair on the brush bar or the hardwood floor bar. Super easy to use and is making my life easier.

Love this vacuum. It is truly amazing how much dust is on the floor that you don't see until you use the attachment with the light. This vacuum works perfectly on hardwood and tile floors which is what I needed. So glad I purchased!

Absolutely Fantastic
I recently purchased a V15. It is absolutely fantastic. It makes my housework so much easier and I don't end up worn out from struggling with a heavy, cumbersome upright vac.
