One sided toast

I think it is a common problem with newer toasters with wider openings for bagels. This is the second toaster I have bought (first was Cuisinart), and they both had the same problem - toasts good on outer side, barely toasts on inner side. I have to turn the bread around when cycle is finished, and turn on again.

Browning is not even.

I bought this toaster because the reviews said it toasted the bread evenly on both sides. It doesn’t.o
