Convenient Coffee Maker

Having a machine that gives you the option to use ground coffee or beans is awesome. No more having a separate grinder for those who want fresh ground for every cup. Has a decent capacity in the bean compartment.

Does not last

Despite regular descaling the unit is not functional after 1.5 years due to scale steam! It seems like it is engineered to fail early

Works like a charm

We wanted a grinder/brewer with the right features to match our coffee fussiness - simple controls for amounts, grind, and strength. That's what the Melitta is. The interface is obvious, I probably could have figured it all out without the user guide.

Carafe is subpar in quality TO THIN

I purchased this coffee maker changing from a brand I have purchased for many years because of the Melitta name. When it arrived, I noticed the carafe was much thinner than I had ever experienced. Well, within a couple of months, I banged it slightly on the counter and it BROKE. I contacted the company and they would not replace it for the defect.....

This brewer and grinder pot works very well. It is not too hard to set up and so far has worked perfectly.

Coffeemaker Fail

Bought this Melitta coffeemaker, it worked fine for a couple of weeks , then the DCAL message started flashing on the display. Purchased some bottles of Descaling liquid, DCAL still flashed. Could not reset it. Grinder then stopped working. Very disappointed.
