Unworthy of the brand
I anticipated a higher quality product from Cuisinart. This is a chintzy pan with a skinny handle that makes it difficult to hold. I used it once to parboil spinach it left a stain I couldn’t scrub off. Terrible product!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear the saucepan did not meet your expectations; stainless steel cookware is not nonstick, and for best results we recommend preheating the pan on low to medium heat, adding oil or butter before cooking, and allowing the cookware to cool before cleaning to help minimize food sticking and discoloration. The staining you experienced may be heat or mineral residue, which can often be removed with a stainless-steel cookware cleaner or a vinegar-and-water solution. Thank you for your comments, as your feedback helps us improve future products and enhance the overall consumer experience.
Solid Durability
I had a 1½ qt. and loved it. My hubs said there wasn't room for any more.I sold all of my vintage Le Creuset, bought a new 3 qt, and am looking forward to more. I appreciate the solid durability and ease of use & care. Well done Cuisenart!

This is the perfect size for most uses and as always very sturdy as I expected from a cuisinart product

Not induction capable
I recently bought an induction range and was looking for a 3 quart saucepan. I was in a thrift store on found a Cuisinart model #7193-20. I had forgotten my magnet but searched and found this page which said it was induction capable. Imagine my surprise when I got home and found it was not magnetic and will not work on my range To have the same model in both induction and non induction is just dumb

Response from cuisinart.com
We’re sorry for the confusion regarding the 7193-20 saucepan and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Some model numbers can vary by production run, and induction compatibility depends on a magnetic stainless-steel base, which can be quickly confirmed with a magnet test. We understand how frustrating this experience must have been and would be happy to review the specific piece with you to clarify compatibility.
Best I have owned
Quality in all aspects. Feels durable. Heats evenly. Easy to clean.

3 Quart Saucepan with Cover
Great pot. Lid handle gets a little hot, though. Like the measurements inside the pot

Needs 2 pour spouts
Solid Cuisinart product. I don’t like the pour spout only on one side. I’ve had smaller saucepans with a spout in each side which was convenient and ergonomic to use.

An outstanding pot that I use a lot
As a single older man and a vegan, this is one of the most useful pans I have. I ruined one by mistreatment and eventually bought another, and I have given them as gifts several times. The straining lid is very useful for draining things after cooking, for instance frozen peas, and it's the perfect size for boiling small portions of things, such as a single sweet potato. The pan is well made and although I don't need the top to be glass, at least it's small in diameter so it's not in danger of exploding like some larger glass tops I've read about on the web. This last bit might sound weird—it's a beautiful object. I love metalwork, and I love stainless steel as a material, and I like how this looks.
