Headboard flakes

The look of rhis bed is nice BUT every morning I wake up to flakes or rattan from the headboard on my pillow.

Nice Bed, but some problems

The bed looks really is nice. I bought it because it got good reviews from customers. It took two of us 115 minutes because of a hole on the bed foot that was out of alignment. We had gotten too far along to dismantle the bed and return. We finally used another longer screw from another project to attach the foot bed. Another issue the small plastic clips used to secure the cross rails in the side rail slots continually slip out causing the rails to fall out of the slot and sometimes onto the floor. I am thinking of using some type of hot glue to keep the clips in place.
