40 oz Travel Bottle with Flex Straw Cap Review

I have wanted to order one of these ever since the 32oz version was released, especially hoping for a 40oz size. When the new size became available, I also hoped it would come in a couple of colors similar to those of the 32oz model, but that never happened. Instead of waiting for these colors, I finally ordered it because I was tired of my 40oz travel tumbler always spilling out. I am very happy with its leak-proof feature; however, I find the tumbler a bit too heavy when full, and it tends to knock over easily. Aside from these issues, I have no other complaints and am very satisfied with it.

Pretty

The color is absolutely beautiful, but it won’t keep ice for more than a few hours. Also, minor issue, but the lid will not tighten to be centered so it makes carrying a little unusual

Not staying cold.

This is my fourth Hydro Flask bottle. My three other bottles still had ice after 24 hours; this new purchase ice does not last more than 10 hours. Have no idea if this is a defect in the bottle or if Hydro Flask's quality control is slipping.
