Performs well but horrifying smell

Just a small dab on your hand will create a lot of foam. Covers face beautifully and gets skin super clean. However, the smell is just disgusting. It smells like my old apartment when it was overcome by ladybugs. A bitter and bad smell. Why not add some rose to make it smell better?

Cleanses well but nothing pleasant about scent.

I am going to finish using it as it seems to cleanse well but doesn’t smell good. I would rather no scent. Hopefully whatever it is that smells is providing some skin benefit.

Excellent Clarifying Cleanser!

I love all of the Lancome cleansers and they have replaced all the other brands I used to use. I vary them with the seasons and with the effect I want to achieve. This is my main Summer/Humid weather cleanser, but I use it at least once a week as a clarifying cleanse throughout the year. The Smell is from the Beech Bud extract which is a therapeutic essential in the Clarifique line. It is an herbal smell which I actually like. I have Mature, relatively sensitive skin and this cleans very well without drying my skin out or irritating it. I also love the Absolue Cleansing Balm and the Pink and Blue foaming cleansers. Lancome makes the very best cleansers!

Needs a new scent

I just used for the first time and time will tell. I am not a fan of the smell, Lancome really needs to change that, but I am willing to try until the bottle is gone. I am a huge fan of the Creme Radiance and the smell is lovely, but my oily skin and pores are a problem so I am hoping this reduces my pores and regulated my oily skin better.

Extraordinary

This is the BEST cleanser I've used in my entire life! I've used multiple brands during my life and during the last couple of decades have purchased exclusive brands from my Med Spa... None of them come close to this. Gentle on the eyes, gentle on the face, thoroughly cleanses without drying, and leaves my face feeling fabulous! And, contrary to a few of the reviews, I LOVE THE FRESH WOODY SENT and appreciate the amazing ingredients.
