Well made!

This cast iron shrimp grill pan is great! It is very heavy weight cast iron that is pre seasoned for ease of use. The small indents are made for a smaller shrimp but there are lots of them to fill! Clean up was a bit difficult with all the indents but still do able.

Great Grill Pan

I have had the Outset CastIron Shrimp Grill pan for a couple weeks now and couldn’t be happier. It helps keep cooking simple with a lot less mess. Perfect for making dinner for a big party or just for yourself. With summer right around the corner this is what you need! It’s also super easy to clean and is made very well, so it will last a long time. This also is a great gift for anyone who loved to be behind the grill or cook.

So happy I got this!!!

I seasoned it in the oven as was suggested before I used it. My first time using it I just marinated some shrimp in a tablespoon of EVOO with some lemon pepper seasoning and Old Bay seasoning for an hour in the fridge. Soooo easy! I used my small toaster/convection oven since it's winter in Ohio and wasn't about to pull out the grill. I heated the oven to 350 degrees, then put the empty grill pan in the oven to heat for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I placed one marinated shrimp in each well and let it cook for about 5 more minutes. They came out perfect!!!!! Clean up was a bit of a challenge though because I didn't run hot water in it right away as they suggested. We used a toothbrush to get in the nooks and crannies. Can't wait to use it again!!!!!!

Awesome Grill Pan!

The Outset Shrimp Grill Pan is castiron and extremely well made. This grill pan is already seasoned and ready to grill. The pan holds 22 shrimp for your grilling pleasure. I prefer grilling my shrimp this way instead of using kabobs. I am extremely happy with this shrimp grill pan!

Awesome, heavy, long-lasting

This is surprisingly heavy! It’s really solid material that holds the temperature all the way through - good for grilling shrimp or anything you would cut to size. I used compound butter to season the pan and cook the shrimp. It’s sized for large shrimp, but obviously you don’t have to use large shrimp to get your bang for your buck cooking in this pan. It’s also great to use with chilled shrimp for shrimp cocktail. I have only had this pan for a short time, but it seems that with proper care, it will last forever.

Great pan

Was excited to get this shrimp pan ! It can be used on the BBQ or in the oven as well. Be sure to season it first per the instructions. I tried the recipe that came with the pan. Tasted great ! The only con is that it is a bit difficult to clean but worth the effort.

Heavy duty, great for juicy shrimp

The cast iron shrimp grill Pan is a delight for getting your shrimp to be juicy and flavorful as they cook in their own marinade without it pouring out all over the grill. The cast iron gives it a great weight and maintains the heat to quickly cook the shrimp to perfection!

Nice grill pan

I haven't had this long enough to actually try it. It is winter and the weather not conducive to grilling or getting fresh shrimp. But it appears to be a very well made item. It has a good weight being cast iron. We can't wait to try it out. It holds 20 nice sized shrimp. Comes with a couple recipes that we will try first just to get the feel of how it works.
