Poor Quality and Frustrating Return

Very disappointed with this purchase and the overall experience. The cabinet doors are misaligned, and despite spending a lot of time trying to adjust them, the issue could not be fixed. The upper storage area is much smaller than expected, and for the price, I expected much better quality and functionality. I contacted Macy’s to return the item and clearly explained that I no longer had the original box. Macy’s directed me to work with the third-party seller, but the phone number they provided was never answered and the seller never responded. Macy’s told me they would provide shipping labels, but despite multiple follow-up calls, I never received them. During one conversation, I was told boxes would be provided, but in another call I was told that was not possible. Instead, UPS was sent to pick up the return even though I had already explained that I had no packaging available. I was later told by Macy’s that I would have to purchase boxes myself, repackage the entire cabinet, and that I would be responsible if the item was damaged during return shipping. I have kept records of my calls and emails documenting the conflicting information I received throughout this process. What should have been a simple purchase and return became a stressful and frustrating experience. This cabinet is overpriced for the quality provided, and the customer service and return process have been a nightmare. I wish I had read reviews like this before purchasing. Buyers should be aware that returns for third-party sellers may be extremely difficult.
