Arrived broken

I bought this as a gift for my 86-year-old mother. To my dismay it arrived today and was broken. The box was damaged and when I pulled out the lamp it looked as if it was pulled apart. Was very disappointed. This item was not cheap for the size. Now have to go through the process of return. Very unhappy .
