Thin blade, tip bent so easily

Blade is extremely thin and flimsy. The knife tip bent after 1-2 weeks of casual use. Knife feels unbalanced due to lightness of the blade compared to the handle. Even if you're one to baby your knives, the knife thickness is so thin it is difficult to chop thick foods or vegetables. Would return but they denied it due to buying a factory-second. I have no issues with visual imperfections but the quality of the knife itself.
