This fresh update to our Marlin Automatic features the iconic dial and hand design from one of our best-selling Marlin watches from the '60s, complemented by a sturdy 40mm stainless-steel case and a black sunray dial. Ticking inside is a tried-and-true 21-jewel Japanese automatic movement that's powered by your motion as you wear the watch and can store a maximum 40 hours of energy. If motionless for longer than 40 hours, wind the watch using the crown until you feel resistance, set the time, and place it back on your wrist where every motion will supply the energy. Crowning the case is a vintage-style domed acrylic crystal and complementing its smooth profile is a sleek stainless-steel bracelet.

Watch looks and feels great,

Watch looks and feels great, but there is no microadjustment on the clasp, so it's hard to fit perfectly. Additionally, the movement is very loud and plastic sounding. Had to return due to that.

What a gorgeous watch! Although

What a gorgeous watch! Although I purchased this to serve primarily as a dress piece, I find I am wearing it several times a week just around the house. It’s an excellent timekeeper, and looks good as an accessory with business casual outfits as well as jeans and an old sweatshirt. Do wish the movement was hacking, and the lume could be a bit stronger…but all in all it’s a wonderful value that holds its own with watches that cost twice the price.

I absolutely love this watch.

I absolutely love this watch. I never thought I could love a watch more than my 34mm Timex Marlin with the champagne dial but this watch may just be it! I can't stop wearing it. I love the simplicity and the fact it's a No Date watch. I adore the mid-century modern aesthetics, from the embossed font to the acrylic crystal (if you scratch it just get some Polywatch) and the fact it's a reliable bona fied Automatic is really fantastic. I love the weight and feel of the watch and every time I look down at it I just smile from ear to ear. Timex is really doing stellar work these days. I hope they continue with the Marlin line. I could imagine buying more 34-38mm No Date Automatic/Mechanical Marlins based off their legendary mid 1960s watches. It's official, I'm a Timex Marlin man now and forever!
