Missing Remote

I gifted this to my mom, my SIL, and myself for Christmas and my mom just told me that her mask didn't come with the remote. It actually had the plastic film removed from most of it and seemed to be a used product (my mom said she didn't remove the plastic). I was so embarrassed! Now I know to open packages to make sure that items aren't used and have all their parts before gifting them to people.
