Too narrow for larger shoes

The organizer has a very narrow depth and it does not close with some of my larger shoes so I had to lay them on their side, which defeats the purpose of storing several pair. For reference, I wear a size 7.5 shoe so I am not sure how larger sizes would fit at all.

It is so tiny, wood is cheap, it came damage don’t buy. My shoes don’t feet. So disappointed
