Solar doesn’t charge but cute fountain

I love the fountain but am very disappointed that the instructions explicitly say the solar charge will remain for 8 hrs after it’s fully charged. This is not true. The water stops running when the sun goes down and I don’t know what the point of the LED light is since it doesn’t work at night.
