The size of this tent is just enough for two people and two small dogs with space for all our gear too. It doesn’t feel cramped or claustrophobic. The floor seems very sturdy to resist rain and moisture. It’s easy enough to set up and take down, and that is important for us. Overall, a good tent for the cost!!!

My affordable moto-camping tent
I have used this tent several times for moto-camping as well as car camping with my dog over a multi-day trip to Maine and back from Illinois. I love how easy it is to set up as well as how nice the ventilation is even with the rain cover on. Roomier up top than most 2-person tents and definitely kept me dry in rainy conditions. Even though I look at more expensive tents online for possible upgrades, I don't pull the trigger because I'm happy with what I got. Until I have a bad experience with it, I will keep using the Coleman Skydome as my primary small camping tent.

Arrived with holes
Came with a hole in the floor and a tear in the corner. Set up three days before a planned camping trip so didn’t have time to return. I do however like the simplicity of set up and take down. Perfect size for myself and my gear. Coleman gave me suggestion for tape to repair so will do that until I can find something new. Will be looking for something similar in a different brand.

Survived Tropical Storm Debby
This tent literally survived a tropical storm. It stayed dry inside and didn’t collapse. Stakes held and aren’t bent at all. I don’t recommend it since the tent would fold almost all the way over in some of the stronger gusts, but every time it sprang right back up good as new. I will say that I don’t find the built in poles any easier - if anything they’re slightly harder to manage than regular. But after staying dry and safe through a storm I have to give this tent a 5.

Great for the dog and me
I usually have an 8 person tent but I wanted to downsize for my solo trips with my dog. This fits a sleeping pad easy with half the space still available for my bags and my dog’s bed. It really does have more height as advertised which I found to be really nice. The tub like design of the bottom is great but makes the tent look a little awkward in the front like it’s not straightened out.

Not weatherproof
It's a good product for beginners. It is not very water resistant. Comfortable and easy to setup. Good value for the price but be careful in the rain.
