I would not re-purchase this item

I have purchased many furniture items from Macy’s and have always had a good experience. This was the exception to the rule when we bought the Mars Kitchen Island. The box that it came in 1 of 2 was very damaged. The top has a a scratch, but when we called Macy’s, they said to return it we would have to get our own box so we decided to try and build it and just cover the scratch. This was our first mistake as many of the pieces were damaged and at the end part of the veneered top broke off not only that but it took my husband four hours plus to put it together. I am still waiting for the third-party to give me a call to reconcile the high price that I paid for what I received. I would not recommend this purchase to anyone.
