Absolutely Love This Coffee Maker!

For Kirkland dark roast, we found that a grind setting of 4 and a strength of 7 hits the perfect sweet spot. You'll definitely want to experiment a bit to find your own ideal flavor profile. As for the machine itself, my initial impressions are entirely positive. It’s a solid, well-built appliance that works flawlessly. We absolutely love it!

Another thumbs up for Breville!

This machine has been fantastic. After our previous coffee maker (different brand) with a built in burr grinder finally called it quits we decide to go with the Breville as we have been happy with their other appliances (electric kettle, toaster and panini grill). I love that I can brew a mug or go cup and do not need pods. The burr grinder is quieter than the machine that this one replaced. Because you fill the water from the front of machine, it’s super easy and accessible to see how much water is in the tank. Very happy with this product!

Used to love this machine but I’ve cooled to it.

I’ve owned about 5of these and the same problem happens every time. After one year the control panel breaks and the timer skips to a lower time so the coffee pot stops brewing early. I wish Breville fixed this.

Amazingly long lasting!

Great in theory, but not great in reality.

Love the idea that I can program it to grind fresh beans in the morning. But it clogs up frequently. So stopped grinding and just use coffee grounds. The next issue is the carafe, I have to practically hold it upside down to pour a cup and regardless however what I pour, it drips down the side. Naturally there’s no replacement for the carafe. So I’m left with a very expensive coffee maker that doesn’t grind but does drip. However not in the way I’d like.

Big brew from a big machine!

Great coffee, works well for single cups and mugs. The machine is pretty tall and if you have a trim lip on the cabinet it can be a tricky thing to get it on the counter under the lip. The water level has to be very low to get it out to fill the bean hopper. It really doesn’t fit the tall mugs well either which is surprising for such a tall machine. The coffee is great and it is very adjustable for different size brews and nice the have the whole pot option.
