Changed brands

I've used the same brand of vacuum cleaner for several years now. When I got this one I was skeptical. I have a very soft haired Boarder Collie, Australian Shepherd, Ridgeback mix. His hair is everywhere. This vacuum cleaner has done the job and then some. I'm very happy with the pet model Bissell vacuum cleaner.

All in all, a good purchase

I used this vacuum my floors, of course. I find it a bit heavy and bulky/awkward to maneuver. Cannot get under low furniture. The main part of the vac is too massive to get under or around some things in my home. It all needs a light on the floor beater section. Finally, the hose for the lift off section is MUCH too short. The GOOD parts - the suction and filtration are superb. It really gets hair, dust, misc garbage my old vac never saw. The hand close-up (?) vacuum attachment is pretty good. Lot's better than if I didn't have it. Will try to adapt a longer hose I have so I can actually reach higher areas/things that need cleaning without having to carry the entire unit up on a set ladder.

Great Vacuum at a Great price

I bought the Bissel vacuum because i like the products, also have a carpet cleaner. Just had new carpets installed in my whole house new carpets deserve new Vacuum. I like the way the Vacuum feels in my hand and it's maneuvering seems to have very good suction. works just as good as Dyson or shark for 1/4 of the price. Would recommend for purchase. I also like the Bissel Pet Foundation knowing my purchase helping animals in need.

Pet Hair Eraser® Allergen Lift-Off® Vacuum

Great Value. The features I needed (swivel head, lift off cannister, brush roll on/off, HEPA filtration, great suction, quick release wand) at a good price. In a perfect world, it would be a bit lighter in weight. The one thing that I Absolutely Do No Like is the 2-In-1 Dusting Brush/Crevice Tool, just junk! The brush doesn't stay up, the stiff bristles don't get into corners. And the really good horsehair brush I have doesn't fit this vacuum. I wish you could offer a better attachment for dusting.

A very touchy machine. The belts burn up too fast. Not worth the money.

Great product.

We have three cats and two dogs so we have a lot of hair. This works great. Couldn’t believe how much we were missing with our old one.
