Maybe not for me

I was excited to try hatch to assist w my nighttime routine and getting away from scrolling. The app takes some time to get used to but the night time sounds are an interesting collection but all of the water sounds sound like static. I do enjoy the customization options for light sound and volume. Sleek design.

Love the look

Looks so much better than most clocks that are similar. I love that the alarm has soothing sounds and sunrise. I only wish it was Bluetooth enabled to play my own music instead having to use a separate speaker. Trying to reduce clutter around my nightstand.

Not functioning as expected

While I love the hatch and purchased one after loving it at my boyfriend's. I'm experiencing 3 issues that seem to be a malfunction. I've been trying to troubleshoot these with no success. 1. In my routine, my hatch will not transition from my wind down in to sleep (brown noise) unless I do so manually. This has been frustrating since I enjoy the wind down very much, but have to resist drifting off in order to get the brown noise on. (if i do not have it on while I sleep, I wont sleep through the night). 2. Additionally, In my routine set up, I have to manually adjust the color myself every night. I have a sound selected that I love, but it automatically pairs it with a specific color, that I don't like. In order to switch it to my preferred color I need to open the app and manually change it. I feel like there should be a way to set this permanently in a custom wind down. There doesn't seem to be an option to do that. 3. Finally, the tap function for the clock to appear hardly works at all. I have given up trying, as it seems to only appear if i lift it up and slam it down on my nightstand– which just ins't worth it. But I was looking forward to this feature so that I could keep off my phone at night. If there are solutions to any of these problems, that would be great.

Terrible WiFi connection

It disconnects from WiFi all the time and is very very difficult to connect. We have no issues either any other devices.
