Great perfume

Byredo Bal d’Afrique Absolu smells bright and juicy at first (citrus + blackcurrant), then turns soft, creamy and slightly sweet with violet, musk and praline, drying down to warm woody amber and vetiver. Richer and longer-lasting than the original, with a refined, sunlit gourmand-woody vibe. Unisex and elegant.

Basic but packs a punch

While the outer packaging is basic and underwhelming this is a happy fragrance. Strong with depth and definitely not underwhelming. Its a clean crisp fragrance with lots going on although I feel a bit lemony for my liking, would be a day go to rather than an evening choice. With all that said its addictive and I am constantly smelling a different tone with this

Scent wasn't nice and didn't last

I didn't like this fragrance unfortunately. It wasn't my type at all, and i found the scent quite disappointing. The biggest issue was the longevity, it lasted only an hour even on my clothes. I expected much better performance from such an expensive perfume- brand.
